Holy Trinity hosted “Breakfast at Trinity’s.” The gathering, whose theme was patterned after the popular film Breakfast at Tiffany’s, aimed to gather the women from the Holy Trinity Church community and beyond, to socialize and to discuss ideas for a reimagined women’s group. Women of all ages gathered in their black dresses, according to the theme. Excitement and laughter filled the room as generations came together and new friendships were made.
After breakfast and many photos in front of the balloon backdrop, a facilitated discussion prompted the women to come up with ideas for names, events, and times to meet for the new women’s group. Mothers, daughters, and granddaughters alike joined in on the conversation. The goal now is to take the input from that very fruitful discussion and begin gathering under a new name beginning in the fall, with fresh and fun events.
We thank the committee and all those who attended for making it such a special day! A very special thanks to Deb Melkonian (Cookies of Winchester) for donating the delicious and beautiful Tiffany themed cookies!
