"What Every Person Should Know About Buying and Selling Real Estate," at the Trinity Men's Union Dinner and Meeting

Cambridge MA – The Trinity Men’s Union of Holy Trinity Armenian Church is pleased to have four Guest Speakers in the field of real estate at its dinner on Monday, April 8, in the Charles and Nevart Talanian Cultural Hall of Holy Trinity Armenian Church, 145 Brattle Street, Cambridge. Guest Speakers are Lauren Carroll, real estate agent; Alex Steinberg, home inspector; David Lazowski, mortgage broker; and Kristina Yee Vitullo, real estate attorney, who will talk about “What every person should know about buying and selling real estate from your first home to investment properties.” They will help educate people by speaking to the process of buying and selling real estate, the importance of the home inspection process, the pre-approval/mortgage process, and the importance of having a heads-up real estate attorney involved when purchasing or selling real estate and not relying on the “bank’s attorney.” The dinner is open to all.
The evening will begin with the social hour at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. Donation for the Lenten dinner of baked shrimp scampi is $15 per person. RSVP is requested by April 5 by emailing or calling David Dorian, 617.501.4300.
Meet our Guest Speakers
Lauren Carroll is currently employed at Compass Real Estate. She has been working in real estate for over a decade, focusing on her hometown of Brookline MA, and the surrounding neighborhoods of Newton, Boston, Weston and others. Having participated in over $250 million in residential sales, Lauren is a strong negotiator and will advocate for buyers and sellers every step of the way using her local connections to bring a level of ease to what can be a complex process.
Alex Steinberg has been in the Home Inspection field for 20 plus years. His company, JBS Home Inspections, Inc., performs inspections in the Greater Boston area. Alex is proficient in the use of all the latest home inspection tools, including thermal cameras, combustible gas detectors and moisture meters, far surpassing the Commonwealth’s requirement for continuing education. His focus is on residential single family, multi- families and condominiums. Alex is currently serving as President of ASHI-NE (American Society of Home Inspectors, New England chapter).
David Lazowski is Regional Senior Vice President of Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation, a national mortgage company and a Top 10 Correspondent Lender currently doing business in 47 states. Kristina Yee Vitullo is a partner at Mason & Martin LLP, having joined the company in 2005. She manages the firm’s real estate department. She represents buyers, sellers, investors, and developers in the acquisition, sale, development, and finance of residential and commercial real estate, including condominium conversations. She is an approved closing attorney for some of the largest lending institutions and mortgage brokers, locally and nationwide.
